Sad to say that I liked the sketched version of this far more, but there you have it! Took me forever to figure out what I wanted to do, when my original idea didn’t quite pan out as planned.

Everyone should go follow this awesome illustration blog! picturethisbook is currently reading/illustrating Sabriel, which I have the most fantastic memories of and is probably one of my favorite YA books. Ever. It’s fantastic to see everyone’s interpretation of the characters, and I know at least for me, sketching is THE way for me to defeat writers’ block.
